Windows Password - How To Reset

It has happened one or more times to many of us - we install a new Windows, or add a new user, or just get distracted with other things.  And then when we wish to log on we suddenly notice that we do not remember our Windows or BIOS password anymore.

Try to recall the probable Windows password.  Attempt to log in with most regularly used passwords
It is possible that you may not have allotted any sort of password.  So try to leave the password blank and press 'Enter'
Check if any other user has an account on your Windows computer, with administrative level access.  If this is the case you can let that user designate you as an administrator

Perform a clean Windows reload.  But this is least recommended methodology as has potentials of imperative data loss
Employ a third-party Windows Password Recovery Software.

To modify a Windows password, Use another user with director rights.  Perhaps the most blatant thing to do, but not everyone knows that a director user can change the passwords for all other users also.  If you continue to know the password for a different director user, this is the way to go.

If last idea did not work, you can select another one.  The following idea is all about resetting of Windows password.  As agreed by Microsoft's Window support data base, you can set a new password easily -
- If you have typed the incorrect password, you can receive a message that announces your user name or password is incorrect.  When this message appears , click OK.
- Click Reset password, and then follow the instructions.

Windows XP and later versions also provide an alternate way for Windows Login Password recovery with the "hard reset".  When you make a password reset disk in the past, you may use this disk to reset passwords.

My first choice is a password resetting software. This way I never have to worry when I forgot my windows password. It works fast and easily
